Aftercare & Bus Service At GMPA
Students can take the bus to GMPA, and participate in a variety of creative activities before and after dance class!
AftercareAftercare is a structured experience designed to engage our students in projects and play while they wait for dance class or pick-up!Students will join groups to make a craft, create artwork, solve a puzzle, play a game, or build a structure at stations set up in the lobby. They can also choose to quietly engage in a solo activity like coloring, reading, or homework.
All indoor Aftercare activities are seated and at a volume respectful to dance classes taking place in the studios. Weather permitting and at staff's discretion, Aftercare may be moved outside to run and play in the grass! All Elementary and Middle School students arriving at GMPA with over 10 minutes before class should be enrolled in Aftercare. Aftercare is scheduled in 60 minute blocks, with the exception of Middle School Block A. Dancers who need an Aftercare block for only 30 minutes will have the price of enrollment halved. Elementary School Aftercare and Middle School Aftercare are priced at different rates. More on Aftercare monthly rates here. Aftercare ScheduleElementary School Block A 3:15-4:15
