For Winter Gathering 2025, we are paying homage to the Winter Olympics with our very own GMPA Winter Games! Will the Green, Purple, or Red Team bring home the gold? What events are being competed? Will the judges score our teams fairly? Join us to find out!
The Winter Gathering is a ticketed event taking place on the evening of December 14th at the Barre Elks Lodge. Family and friends are invited to enjoy hor d’oeuvres while getting into the competitive spirit and cheering on our teams! The classes participating in the Winter Gathering are listed below. Details for Dancers and Families
Dancers should arrive for rehearsal with light stage makeup done and hair tied back securely in a style of their choice. Costumes are self-costume, meaning they will come from dancers' closets.
Ballet 4 (Monday 4:15)
Self costume: solid color sweater and leggings/flares with an accessory in Purple, Green, or Red (hats, gloves, mittens, scarf), ballet shoes
Ballet 5 (Monday 5:30)
Self costume: solid color sweater and leggings/flares with an accessory in Purple, Green, or Red (hats, gloves, mittens, scarf), ballet shoes
Celtic Company (Tuesday 6:45)
Self costume: Solid team color top, black leggings, shorts, or skort, plain white or bubble socks, Irish or Highland shoes
Highland 3 (Wednesday 6:15)
Self costume: Team color dress, Highland shoes
Hip Hop 3 (Wednesday 5:15)
Self costume: Plain team color long-sleeve, plain black sweatpants, winter hat, snow goggles, clean sneakers
