Winter Performances
Every December, GMPA classes perform for family and friends to demonstrate and celebrate all the hard work of the first semester! Each class is preparing to participate in one of the two following performance opportunities.
Winter Gathering - Sunday, December 14th
On Sunday, December 14th, the following classes will participate in GMPA’s Annual Winter Gathering! This year, we are paying homage to the Winter Olympics with our very own GMPA Winter Games! The Winter Gathering is a ticketed event taking place on the evening of December 14th at the Barre Elks Lodge. Family members are invited to enjoy hor d’oeuvres while getting into the competitive spirit and cheering on our teams! In-Studio Performances - Week of December 15th-19th
During our last week of the semester, December 15th-19th, GMPA will transform into a Winter Wonderland for In-Studio Performances! Families of dancers in the following classes are invited to GMPA to watch a performance celebrating everything we learned so far this year. Classes’ In-Studio Performances will be on the day of their normal dance class. Bus service and Aftercare will operate as usual during the week of In-Studio Performances.
Most classes’ performance time falls near the middle or end of their normal class time. Most classes will arrive for their normal class time and rehearse in class before they perform. In a few cases noted below, performance times are before normal class time and dancers should arrive earlier than usual. Please read the following details closely! Bus service and Aftercare will operate as usual.
New this year! Each class participating in In-Studio Performances will perform their dance in all three studios/rooms for three audiences of family members. We are excited to introduce this new format to make the most of our studio space!
