2020/2021 Covid-19 Safety Info

COVID-19 Safety Precautions- please read carefully and review with your students.

Small Class Sizes: In Person class sizes are limited to 10 students in the large studio, 7 students in the small studio and 4 students in aftercare.

Health Screening/Protocol: All persons entering the building will have temperature taken. Students will immediately wash their hands and then proceed to their waiting spot in the lobby or into their studio classroom. Students will be asked to use hand sanitizer or wash hands again before leaving.

Masks: All persons in the building should have a mask on at all times, including while dancing, unless they are unable to due to health reasons.

Travel Guidelines: We ask that all families follow the governor’s recommendation regarding self-quarantine after traveling. As this will change across the time, we ask that all families stay current on self-quarantine requirements and do not send a child/attend if you have recently been traveling and should be in self-quarantine.

Health Guidelines: All persons entering the building need to be healthy, have no symptoms of sickness, nor have been exposed to anyone who is sick. We ask that all GMPA attendees follow Vermont state guidelines related to health, including any restrictions in place by the Governor.

Drive Thru Drop Off: To ensure students being able to get to class on time, our drive through is for drop off only. All students not coming on the bus or driving themselves should be dropped off in our Drive-Thru drop off. Students should come in for a temperature check. The driver should wait for a thumbs up before they drive off.

Pick Up: For pick up, please park in the parking lot and we will send your child out to you.

Lobby/Dressing Rooms: Our waiting rooms are currently closed. Students should arrive close to the start of class time and leave the building immediately after- so please be sure to be on time for pick up. Students will be permitted to enter the building between 5-10 minutes before their class begins but no earlier. The hallway areas has individual cubbies for outdoor shoes. All personal belongings should come with students into the studio and stowed in personal cubbies. Dressing rooms are also closed- so please come ready for class!

Hybrid classes: In the event of temporary closure, all classes will be continued via online streaming. Both studios will be equipped for live streaming. If you would prefer to take class online instead of in person, please register like usual and send us an email noting your preference so we can ensure you get the info you need to take class online.
