Sickness and Camp/Classes: What you need to know
|
At GMPA, we are looking forward to welcoming dancers back to the studio. Though it will look and feel differently, we plan to offer a safe and small camp experience that will allow kids a chance to re-connect with peers and practice a new way of sharing space (and distance!) with each other.
Here are some ways that camp will look different: Each camp, with a max of 10 campers, will be staffed with the camp instructor to focus on the kids as well as a support staff to focus on safety and cleaning procedures. Check out the video below to get a picture of camp. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FAMILY INFO SHEETS FOR MORE DETAILS. Finally, we recognize that we may be the first time that our campers are participating in an experience where they are experiencing the "new normal" that is resulting from this pandemic. We take that responsibility seriously- especially with regard to their emotional well-being and feeling like they are safe in the world. We are confident that we can balance both the seriousness of the safety requirements and the lightness needed to maintain a fun, comfortable environment. We look forward to seeing your kids soon!
